These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Eric Djavid (“BlablaFrench”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the BlablaFrench app and blablafrench.app (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use BlablaFrench. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BlablaFrench for your own language learning. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, scrape, disrupt, or misuse the Service, or use it in violation of any law.
BlablaFrench offers an optional paid subscription. Purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel in your store account; cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable. See our Support page for billing help.
The tutor conversations, corrections and feedback are generated by AI and are provided for language-learning purposes. They may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied on as professional, legal or other advice. Use your judgment.
You retain ownership of the content you create (such as saved words and voice recordings). You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service, including its lessons, design, logo and the winged-rooster mascot, is owned by BlablaFrench and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond using the app as intended.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will make you fluent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlablaFrench will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Effective” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
